I know, praising the success of others isn’t really my forte, but given one of the two authors I was first published with, Joe Abercrombie, has hit no. 3 on the Sunday Times bestseller list, it seems appropriate! The fact there are two Gollancz authors on the list and one is, I believe, a debut is stunning, but I’m especially delighted for Joe as if anyone’s going to outstrip me in that way, I’s prefer it to be someone I actually like ;0)
Haven’t read The Heroes yet, but that’s just a matter of time and the praise has been universal so I’ve no doubt I’ll enjoy it as much as his others. You should too!
Finished The Heroes last night. It’s AWESOME, and I’m glad so many other people are agreeing with me. :) He has this way with characters that makes you fall in love with all of them at once.
