I don’t believe it….

According to this thingy I was sent yesterday, my brain is intransigently fantasy-based. I mean come on, how ridiculous is that? It seems most people don’t see it turn in the same direction as I do, and if they focus it will change direction. I have to assume this isn’t a complicated way of messing with my head because I can only see it going clockwise..

      1. Well, it’s not entirely my area of neuroscience. It might be technically fairly accurate in explaining which hemisphere of your brain is dominant. (On the other hand, it might represent dominance in just – say – visual cortex, and the extrapolation must be made to the rest of the brain, possibly erroneously.)

What is well into the territory of dubious nonsense is that it makes you emotional/logical, impulsive/cautious and so on.

I’d really need to see some proper literature to determine more about it.

  1. Brainthingy

Yeah, i saw it go clockwise, too…I tried closing my right or left eye while looking at it, I even took a few steps back from the screen, but it looked exactly the same…sort of scary that these logical people should have all that power, to make the lady spin in the direction they want her to!

  3. I can make it change direction depending on where I look- to the right or the left of the screen.
On my slow computer it was originally very jerky and she was going anti-clockwise, then on a better machine she was going clockwise from the first look…
