Afraid this won’t be a long post as everything’s a bit busy at the moment, but I will do more by next week I hope, including the reasons why I don’t think The Name of the Wind is actually the greatest fantasy debut of the last 30 years (as it claims on the front of my proof). All I will say for now is that it must be incredibly frustrating to get hyped SOOOO much that you can’t possibly live up to expectations, despite writing a very fine novel…. Sufficient hype that I then start looking at the bad points and inflating them in my mind…
Anyway, the point of the post is that Heyne, those lovely people who were the first to buy translation rights in Stormcaller all those years ago, have finally put a cover and description up on their website. You can see it here, do let me know what you think! I assume the delay has been because I’ve caused the translator lots of headaches ;0)
Nice Cover
Really cool cover, the only problem is that the original cover for Stormcaller is way amazing and always catches my eye on my bookself!!!!

Re: Nice Cover
;0) The UK cover is lovely, isn’t it? I’ve just had Larry Rostant sign the covers of Stormcaller and Twiglet for me and now they’re going to be framed and hung on my wall.
