Yup, you heard me! My reasoning? Well on Tuesday I spent most of the afternoon struggling to write 1300 words, felt exhausted by the end of it and generally pissed off. Then, just before bed, once it was dark, I did another 900 in half an hour. I had forgotten how much easier writing is after dark and without the afternoon warmth. Can’t it only be summer at the weekends?

hot summer nights.
it may be that you might actually want to be spending more of your time in the sun, which would probably help kick start fresh ideas, not that you need any advice from me, just cant wait for book 4 which no book seller can tell me when !!! lol just impatient
Re: hot summer nights.
;0) well yes, nice summer evenings aren’t conducive to me working hard.
it’s weird that booksellers are all saying they don’t know when book 4 will be out – don’t think the plan’s changed since Gollancz scheduled it. I’m delivering in December and it’s scheduled for July next year.

Well thats waterstones and borders for you in glasgow, but its better to get it straight from the source… so only 1 year to go, I personally blame my girlfriend for making me read more books and for the friend that gave me the Stormcaller as an option to read, since the end of that book I’ve been hooked(also only found this website this morning and am supposed to be working:S) however ill stop my rant and thank you for the info!!!

Roll on summer
I wrote 4500 words on Sunday – but then a) I live on Tasmania, where we are ust struggling out of winter, and b) we got about 2 inches of rain before lunchtime.
However, the downside is trying to do nanowrimo in the middle of summer…
Just listened to your interview on AiSFP, and will add your books to my to-read pile shortly (assuming they’re available down here).

Excellent, sounds so weird hearing myself back, esp as no one’s voice sounds how they imagine it, that I’m glad you still want to buy the book! Should certainly be out in Tas, the first three should all be published there.
