The fact that you’ve got an additional bank account you knew nothing about (and nor did any of the other five or six people concerned) or the fact that there’s been activity in that account recently?! Someone’s fucking with me, but doesn’t seem to be stealing from me…

Probably a bank error…i was sent three pin numbers today and had to guess which one was the right one. I have no idea what goes on in those call centers, but it ain’t good.
worryingly, it isn’t – the account apparently had a savings account attached to it automatically, they just didn’t bother mentioning it or sending statements for most of the last ten years!
blimey, that is weird. Just the sort of thing that makes you paranoid…that kind of happy nothing is actually happening, but checking all your bank letters/emails nevertheless. And no savings…poor form; they could have left you a quid or something. Thinking about it – dont you need to deposit something into a bank account to open one or prove earnings? Hope it all works out.
well that’s the weird thing, they transferred all the money in the savings account to the current account, which i can use and have moved money out of! I just can’t find anyone in the company willing to admit they’ve done this useful thing so i didn’t have to!
